Tours, Trainings and a video =p

One of the things we were fortunate to experience was the Installation Training by Bernie and theWarehouse Tour by Ron. We were able to cover Answer, FrameOne and a bit of c:scape.
Even if the Warehouse Tour we had was the same tour they gave to their clients, it still gave us an inside look on how they operate.

The Installation Training with Bernie not only gave us a chance to see the furniture being installed, we also got to try installing it.

During the Showroom tour we had in the North Bay Office with Andreas, he was also able to show us an Answer Frame and got to discuss a bit about it.

I was also able to check out an a:scape typical in the Steelcase Showroom after the design meeting of the North Bay team. We were able to discuss a bit about it which was very helpful and informative.

Other than the trainings and tours,  we were able to do was attend the Lunch & Learns and product presentation of the different suppliers that visit the Oneworkplace Offices.

Another supplier that was in both the North Bay and South Bay Office was the Energizing Station. I was able to try this on my last day in the North Bay Office.

When we visited the East Bay Office, we also had a tour of the Showroom and had a couple of meetings which was very helpful.

Everything that we had experience during our trip was a really great experience. These are the kinds of things where you cannot express enough how grateful you are to have been part of that experience.
No matter how many times we say Thank you, it doesn’t seem to be enough. One way we could show it (again…hehehe) was by this video that we made during the time we went back to the office after dinner with Lesley since she had a couple of things to finish. It all started when Jok showed us a video from youtube that we thought would be fun if we made video like that.
Check out the link below if you’d like to watch it. The video is unlisted so you would need the link to be able to see it as it is not searchable =D

Thank you all again and hope you guys like the video! =)

The Wandering Invaders

Cool Site Visits!
We thank OWP for giving us this great opportunity to see some of the big 'names' we have been designing and auditing for.  Surely, if we come across these projects again, we  will never look at the floor plans and specs the same way again.

California Food Adventure

We can't seem to thank you enough, One Workplace, for this wonderful experience.
Ginger, Mitch, Jok and I (Pam) gained so much friends, knowledge and exciting stories to share.
Surely the extra pounds we gained did not matter at all!(?)
Oh well, we'll probably get rid of 'em sooner or later! :)
In the mean time, let me show you some of the best California food we tried
during our 2-weeks stay in the city.
Welcome to our
California food adventure...

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk - told Monica and Lesley that we wanted to try something different, something weird...

Ginger, Pam, Mitch and Jok

Jok, acting like 'one of the gals!

Tried Ike's place sandwich for the first time.
I was amazed with the variety of Sandwiches they offer,
which are creatively named after famous celebrities.
I got myself a 'Jim Rome' (American radio sports talk show host).
A large serving of delicious Dutch crunch bread with turkey, avocado, cheddar and pesto.
Yum yum!

Ginger and I, with Ike of course :)

Great Mall of the Bay Area
Shopping Mall in Milpitas, CA.
This mall was so "Great" we had to go there three times to shop and also dine
as fast as we can...and then shop some more! haha :)

Special thanks to Tanty, Jennifer, Kari, Nicole and Lesley
for being so patient with us while we were doing our shopping sprees...

Taqueria La Veracruzana , Santa Clara, CA
I ordered Quesadilla and it came with a generous amount of fresh tomato and avocado toppings.
Very different from what we have in Manila, but of course much preferred by me.
Distinctive Mexican food.
